((yeah that would be good))
George laughed "Well hopefully you won't forget your character name, darlin'!" he said jokingly to Jorja.. "Since your gonna be off for a long time" he continued. He wasn't joking about the "long time" part.
"You lucky thing, havin' that much off work! Obviously you will be starting maternity leave in the next couple of weeks, I don't know where the writers will say Sara has gone!" At this point he wasn't he talking to Jorja - he was more like talking to the whole cast, informing them of what will be happening.

The group fell silent, knowing how much Jorja loved the job and also knowing she would never agree to so much maternity leave, if any really. "George...honey, I'm not going on maternity leave, at least not for quite awhile yet...nothing'll happen to me, I'll be fine." She said as gently as she could, knowing he probably wasn't going to take that very well.

"What?" he said, shocked, and quite loudly. He looked around at their "audience", also known as their friends. He realised how loudly he had said that, he was just shocked. He decided to try and keep his tone down for the rest of the discussion, but he knew it would be hard if there were anymore shocks for him, which he had a horrible feeling there would be.
"But..you can't." he stated, in the most (fake) calm voice he could put on.

Jorja frowned a little, feeling a little embarassed that their friends were about to witness their first fight. She was an independent girl and wouldn't be told she couldn't do something. "Sweetie, can we talk about this later? I'm not going on maternity leave, especially not soon. End of. I'm happy to be having your baby but I won't stay home with my feet up while I wait for it to arrive. You know me, I need to be doing something - in specific working. I told you earlier, I'm pregnant, not disabled." She could hear the strain in his voice so she spoke gently, calmly, to try and make it have that effect on him. Marg made an excuse and dragged Eric and the others up to the bar. Gary and Eric started a game of pool on Marg's command, knowing to give Jorja and George their space.

George sat down opposite Jorja. "Come on, there's stuff to do at home...there's..i dunno...you can, erm,..clean?" George stopped dead realising what he had said. He didn't mean to say that, it was totally subconscious. But he knew straight away that any woman would go mad being told that. He didn't know what he could do to prevent an arguement now. He tried, but didn't get the chance to say anything other than: "Honey - "

"Oh don't you "honey" me, George! I cannot believe you just said that!" She was more then a little upset by his statement. Standing up, she glared down at him. "I'm going to the bathroom - we can discuss this at home." And her tone told him she was done saying things gently. This was going to turn into a full-blown argument if one of them didn't back down. And Jorja was sure as hell that she wasn't going to be the one to do it. It was her body and she was determined to have the final say as to how long she worked up until with this baby due.

George could get rather stubborn at times. It wasn't really like him, but sometimes it got the better of him. One thing he was sure of was that he didn't like being told what to do. He stood up rather aggressively.
"Guys, I'm off." he shouted to them, before storming out. He didn't get in his car, though he did have the keys. He just walked off. No-one knew where he had gone, though.

Jorja stood for a while just staring at her reflection in the restroom mirror. Sighing, she splashed cold water on her face and mannaged to summon a smile, walking back out to her friend...minus George. Her face fell when Marg told her quietly that he'd left, seeming royally pissed. Going outside, she looked around for him and was a little relieved when she saw his car. She had a spare set so she opened it and just sat in the silence, waiting for him to return, knowing that eventually he would. After he'd cooled off. But she knew that the worst was probably yet to come. He'd been forced to keep his opinions in check while they were in a public place but as soon as they were in those four walls, all hell would break loose.
((Do they have a house board?))
